The business problem
JT Club fills the gap between Jetour SA's official brand club (polished, brand-managed) and the unstructured WhatsApp groups where real owner knowledge lives. It gives the T2 community a persistent, searchable, candid space: verified specs, owner field notes seeded from real WhatsApp exports, curated accessory suppliers, and an anonymous fault tracker that surfaces aggregate reliability data without naming individuals. The model is independent and community-run — no brand control, no dealer sponsorship, no resale marketplace. V1 shipped August 2026 as a fully static Astro site with a complete SEO layer; v1.1 target is the owner fault tracker (aggregate public counts) and a monthly digest as platform-migration insurance.
What the build does about it
MVP v1.0 live at jtclub.co.za. Field Notes knowledge base seeded from 37 anonymized owner-FAQ entries from a real WhatsApp export. Real Jetour-specific accessory suppliers listed (7 vendors, names and categories only, no pricing). Forum has real-topic threads. Locked visual direction: editorial-split hero, Archivo, SA Flag & Chilli palette. V1.1 scope: anonymous fault tracker (aggregate public counts) + monthly digest.
