The business problem
Uplifted is a done-for-you website-as-a-subscription service for South African small businesses, built around a clear, predictable recurring-revenue model. Now rebranded from SiteSmith ZA, it is deliberately engineered as the reference implementation that every future done-for-you client site will be cloned from. It bundles subscription billing, automated invoicing, and a referral engine so a single sale compounds into ongoing revenue and word-of-mouth growth. It is the most direct path to recurring cash flow in the current portfolio.
What the build does about it
In the Deploy phase at 85% complete and live on a Vercel testing instance. Immediate priorities are wiring Supabase, taking subscription billing live once the payment account is verified, and acquiring the first paying customer to validate the model. Commercial goal is direct recurring revenue plus a reusable DFY template.
